Thank You to the
People of York-Simcoe
I want to thank the people of York-Simcoe
for the confidence you have shown in
re-electing me as your Member of Parliament.
The responsibility and
duty of serving you in
Ottawa
is enormous, and I am proud to be able to
carry that task.
It has been an honour
to serve our community for the past four and
half years.
You have given
me the opportunity to serve in a range of
roles, including as Government House Leader.
I wish to pay tribute
to the other candidates in the election.
Anyone who puts
their name on a ballot is making a
significant personal sacrifice to offer
voters a choice, and make our democracy
work.
They all deserve
our thanks.
I want to thank my tremendous team of
supporters and volunteers – who delivered
the second largest conservative win in
Ontario.
Hundreds of
volunteers put in thousands of hours – and
over 3,000 families supported me by
displaying a lawn sign on their property.
Thanks to all of
you for that commitment.
I look
forward to continuing to serve you on the
priorities you have told me are important to
